I’m writing you late on this fine Bandcamp Friday to celebrate ambient music. I have two New albums for you.
First off is digital release from research musician and composer Demetrio Cecchitelli. OBVIOUS OBLIQUITY was primarily conceived as a compositional installation art piece only using a tiny square waveform oscillator and a blank cassette player. The poetic idea behind the work is a representation of the “sudden”, within an existential context: the obviousness of daily life in contrast with the “obliquity”, so the configuration of an exchange (emotions for example): a dynamic and phase shift, upside down equilibrium, balancing time’s plume.
