This has been a super fun release to work on. Obsidian Shard caught my eye back in 2019 with their bright and fast paced music videos that they shared on Instagram. I’ve been excited about every release they have done, and was eager to ask them to share an album with me. I’m very humbled to be a home for this release.
Cassettes were assembled from bits of craft paper, filing cabinet folders and whatever else I could find to match the color with clippings from books on DIY home repair. The whole theme seemed to fit Obsidian Shard’s frenetic cut up method nicely.
